"There's so much plastic in this culture that vinyl leopard skin is becoming an endangered synthetic."
—Lily Tomlin
When is leather not leather? When it is vinyl. Some furniture retailers have in the past got into trouble with the Commerce Commission for passing off synthetic "leather" products as the genuine article, and this has resulted in changes in advertising which is good news for the consumer. Fortunately, in the above instance the retailer was able to resolve the matter to our client's satisfaction. Always nice to see a happy ending!
