This week I was handed a leather jacket covered in mould due to its having been stored in a cold, damp space. The jacket was of very good quality, the owner had had it for many years, and could I do something with it? Sure thing! The mould had not grown to the point of causing permanent damage, and so I was able to remove it completely before cleaning the jacket with professional leather care products, which contain special anti-mould properties. The finished result is shown below.
